The A41 near Hemel Hempstead has been closed following a serious crash.
At around 11am this morning multiple cars were involved in a collision on the southbound carriageway close to the junction for Bourne End (Sunday, November 1).
Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary rushed to the scene and now they have closed the carriageway.
Reportedly paramedics are also at the scene attending to all those involved.

In a tweet, Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Drivers should avoid the A41 near Hemel Hempstead as it remains closed southbound from Bourne End while emergency services attend a road traffic collision.”
Traffic is now starting to build in the area while the road remains closed.
There is around two-miles worth of slow-moving traffic behind the collision as well as long delays on the nearby A4251 as drivers are attempting to divert off the A41.
There are some residual delays now around Hemel Hempstead and Apsley as drivers attempt to route around the collision.
Drivers are urged to allow for plenty of extra time when making journeys this morning.
Hertfordshire Constabulary and the East of England Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
