Live Roller Derby – Hertfordshire vs London

Hertfordshire’s Hell’s Belles, the county’s only roller derby team, are back in action after an enforced four-year hiatus. The Hell’s Belles host a Five Nations Roller Derby game day on Saturday 22 April 2023, kicking off the 2023 season for the Tier Three East division, and getting back to competitive championship games for the first time since 2019.

If you’ve never seen live roller derby before, it’s exciting to watch, fast-paced and hard hitting. Played on quad roller skates, roller derby is one of the fastest growing full contact sports in the UK and has been under consideration as an Olympic sport.

The games start at 11am:

Big Bucks High Rollers v Cambridge Rollerbillies (11am)
Hertfordshire Roller Derby v London Rockin’ Rollers (1.10pm)

Join us for a fun day out – there’ll be homemade cake, a raffle and stalls – and you can join us for the after party too.

Watch the action at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre, HP1 1JS. Doors open at 10.30am.

Tickets £10 (plus a low income option of £6) / £12 on the door. Under 16s go free.
