8 hidden gem homes in Herts that are crying out for a buyer

With so many online estate agents and so many new listings, it’s hard to keep up with the property market at times.

That also means houses that have been on the market for a while can sometimes get lost.

It might be easy to think that those lingering on pages right at the back of the queue may be needing a lot of work or are in less desirable areas, but that’s definitely not the case.

We used online estate agent Zoopla to find homes that have been on the market for years, or have had big price cuts, but yet still can’t find a buyer.

These are stunning properties, and while out of the reach of most of us, show just how incredible some houses on the market are.

We’ve picked our favourites, from those with home cinemas and outdoor pools, to modern town houses.

Who knows, if you have a couple million hidden away, you may find your new home.

Arkley

This six-bed home has been on the market since August 2018, and despite a reduction of £300,000 it still hasn’t sold.

It looks incredible and one of the more modern homes on the list.

This property was first listed in September 2020 so not as long as others, but has already had a massive 28 per cent knocked off its price.

There is parking included as well, with the flat also less than a mile to Hemel Hempstead railway station – so you’re covered however you need to travel.
