Some parts of Hertfordshire are glorious, fancy and very dreamy.
No matter where you are, whether it be Cuffley, Brookmans Park, Elstree or Radlett, it is quite simply where you’d love to live.
It is hard not to gaze and drool over some of the multi-million pound mansions on offer and something we always want to know is who is the lucky person who is living there.
Your first thought will be some multi-millionaire who is the CEO of a global business, but in fact, there are a lot of famous footballers who might live closer to you than you think.
Hertfordshire has it all, from some of the biggest names in the Premier League, to international stars – the list is endless.
The likes of Jack Wilshere, Gareth Southgate and even Adam Lallana are all from the county, but there have been even bigger stars who have lived in the area such as Kolo Toure, Kyle Walker and even David Beckham.
For some footballers, mainly Arsenal, Tottenham and Watford players, they choose the leafy parts of Hertfordshire because it is so close to the club they play for and the training grounds, which are in London Colney and just on the border or Herts in Enfield.
So here are some of the biggest names who once, or still do, call Hertfordshire their home:
