12 places in Herts where KFC want to open a new restaurant

Chicken lovers in Hertfordshire never have to travel too far for a KFC, but it might get even easier in the near future.

The fried chicken chain are looking for 500 new locations in the UK as part of a huge expansion.

The chain has eyed-up several ‘target locations’ in every corner of the country – including a dozen in Hertfordshire.

On their website they have published a list of all 500 spots that they are looking to open a new restaurant, or relocate current KFCs.

If your town is on the list it doesn’t mean a new restaurant is coming soon, but that one could be arriving before the end of next year.

“We have a number of different formats and designs that are suitable for all locations.

“We strive to work with local communities and business’ to bring some finger lickin’ chicken to towns and cities across the country.”

The new restaurants could be traditional drive-thrus, smaller restaurants or bigger high street units.

If your area hasn’t made the list, then you may be in luck still with KFC saying they’re open to hear other suggestions.
